Our founding physician, Dr. Douglas Lieb, is fellowship-trained at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in the medical and surgical treatment of disorders of the retina, macula, and vitreous, and has over 14 years experience in treating patients in Central Florida. Dr. Lieb and his staff are committed to working with patients and their families, as well as referring physicians, optometrists, and other medical professionals, to deliver the highest quality of care in the diagnosis and treatment of retinal conditions.

At Advanced Retina Associates, the latest advances in vitreo-retinal surgery, laser technology, and pharmacology are used. All diagnostic testing is performed in the office using the state-of-the-art technology. Most treatments are also performed in the office to maximize convenience to patients and family. More complex procedures are performed at Blue Springs surgery center, located just across the hall from our Orange City office, and Halifax Hospital, with staff well-trained in retinal surgery.
